Autobiography of Rev. James Thomas Taylor

A ‘Native Son” of Apex, North Carolina, Reverend James Thomas Taylor accepted Christ at the early age of 12, Reverend Taylor received his Christian instruction at St. Mary AME Church in Apex, North Carolina. In 1993 he heard the voice of the Lord saying” Go” and accepted the call to preach the gospel. In 1997, he was assigned his first pastorate at Union Bethel AME Church in Cary, North Carolina. He remained at this pastorate for twelve years until he was assigned to St. Mary AME Church in 2009.

It is his desire to live and work so that God will always receive the glory for all things done in his life.

“I will tell of your goodness; all day long I will speak of your salvation, though it is more than I can understand. I will go in the strength of the Lord God; I will proclaim your goodness,yours alone” Psalm 71:15-16
